Bhujodi

You can find Bhujodi over at Vyapar Bhavan, right by the Bhuj Mercantile Co-op Bank near Mithakhali Six Roads. It’s a busy intersection, so there is always a lot of noise and people moving around. We spend our time surrounded by fabrics and different materials that come in from different places. The space isn't huge, but we pack a lot into it. It can get a bit dusty with all the textiles, so we are always dusting off the shelves. Working in Mithakhali means we get a lot of foot traffic from people heading to the bank or just crossing the street. We’ve got a system for how we display things, but honestly, sometimes it just ends up where there's a free spot. It’s a bit of a squeeze when a big shipment arrives, and we have to move everything around to make room. The staff here is just a few local people who know a bit about the cloth. We aren't doing anything high-tech, just selling what we have and keeping the shop open. The fan in the corner makes a bit of a clicking sound, but we don’t mind it much. It’s a practical place for people who need what we sell. We usually open up around ten and stay until the evening rush starts to die down. It’s a good enough spot for us, even with all the chaos of the traffic outside.
