You can find the Gujarat Paper Box Mfg. Co. at Plot 406 in Phase - IV of the Naroda G.I.D.C. estate. We are in the business of making cardboard boxes, so as you can imagine, our workshop is filled with stacks of paper and big rolls of corrugated board. The machines we use for cutting and folding are quite loud, and they run for most of the day. It’s a very practical kind of place. We don't have any decorations on the walls, just a calendar and some notes about the orders we need to finish by the end of the week. There is always a smell of glue and recycled paper in the air. We spend a lot of our time measuring and double-checking the sizes because even a small mistake means the box won't close right. We have a small team of workers who are very good at what they do. We don't have a dedicated sales team; we just take orders as they come in. The office is just a small wooden cabin inside the main hall where it’s a little bit quieter. Outside, the estate is always busy with people and vehicles, but inside we just focus on the task at hand. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but there is something satisfying about seeing a flat sheet of paper turn into a sturdy box. We just provide a simple product that everyone needs but nobody really thinks about much.
