Our unit is over in Phase 3 of the GIDC in Naroda, at plots 12 and 13. Being near the railway station crossing means we spend a fair amount of time waiting for the gates to open when the trains go by. It’s a noisy area, but you get used to it after a while. At Dhiren Polymers., we deal with a lot of plastic raw materials, so there are always bags and pellets everywhere. The warehouse floor is usually covered in a fine dust, and the machines have a constant hum that you only stop noticing when you go home. It’s a pretty large space, but we manage to fill it up quickly with stock. We don't have a big corporate team, just a handful of us who know how to run the equipment and keep things moving. We usually start early in the morning before the sun gets too high because the shed gets like an oven by midday. There’s a small shop down the road where we get our lunch, and that’s about the only break we take. We aren't big on fancy meetings; we just talk over the noise of the plant and decide what needs to be done next. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place where the work is steady and the days feel long. We just focus on keeping the machines running and the orders going out to the customers.
