We’re located over in Bodakdev, specifically on the 5th floor of Kailash B in the Sumanglam Society. It’s a well-known spot because the Drive In Cinema is right across from us. This group has been around for a while, focusing on empowerment and development in a very practical way. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or a polished reception area. Instead, our rooms are filled with stacks of papers and people coming in to talk about community projects. Being near Asia School means we get a lot of foot traffic in the area, though our floor stays relatively quiet. We work on a lot of different things, from helping people get their documents in order to organizing small local workshops. It’s all very grassroots. No one here wears a suit, and we all pitch in with the cleaning and the filing. We just want to see things get better for people who don't have many resources. The view from the fifth floor is alright, but we spend most of our time looking at our spreadsheets and talking to visitors. It’s a bit of a walk up if the lift is being slow, but we’ve gotten used to it. We don't do much in the way of promotion, we just let the work speak for itself and help whoever walks through our door.
