Civic Center Name - AMBAWADI (Gandhigram)

Our civic center is part of the Gandhigram Sub Zonal office, which you can find near Himmatlal Park in the Ambawadi area. We are tucked away in the Azad Society neighborhood, which is a bit quieter and more residential than some of the other center locations. It is a nice area with a lot of trees and houses around it. Even though it is a government office, it doesn't feel quite as hectic as the ones in the middle of the big markets. People from the nearby flats and societies walk over here to take care of their municipal tasks. The office is inside a standard municipal building. It has that familiar smell of old paper and ink. We have several windows where clerks sit to help people with their forms and payments. There is usually a bit of a wait, but there are benches where you can sit under the fan. We don't have any marketing people or fancy brochures. If you need something done, you just bring your documents and wait for your turn. The staff here has been around for a while and they know the neighborhood well. It is just a steady, local place where we do the routine work that keeps the city running. We try to keep things moving so no one has to stay longer than they need to, which is pretty much all anyone wants from an office like this.
