Vishwakarma Machine Tools (Vatva Gidc)

Vishwakarma Machine Tools is located at 59-60 in the Krishna Estate, which is on Plot No.3606 near the New Nirma plant in Phase 4 of Vatva Gidc. Being in an industrial estate like this means we are surrounded by other workshops and factories. It’s a very practical environment. We spend our days working with machine tools. The shop floor is where everything happens. It’s usually loud with the sound of grinding or cutting. We’ve got a lot of heavy equipment around. The address is a bit of a mouthful, but once you’re in Phase 4, we aren't too hard to find. We aren't a corporate office. Our desks are usually covered in drawings and metal shavings. It’s a place where work gets done with hands and machines. We’ve been here in Vatva for a good while. The heat in the summer can be tough in these sheds, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We handle orders for various industries around Gujarat. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s necessary. We don't spend a lot on fancy signs or marketing stuff. Most of our work comes from people who know what we do and come back because we’ve been here and we know the machines. It’s just us doing our bit in the middle of this big industrial zone without making much of a scene about it.
