Jay Traders

Jay Traders is located right near the Nigdi Flyover on the Old Mumbai-Pune National Highway. It’s a very busy spot because of all the traffic coming through this part of Pune. You can always hear the cars and bikes going over the flyover, which becomes a constant hum in the background. We’ve been at this location in Nigdi for a long time. The address is quite easy to find because the highway is such a major landmark for everyone. Our shop is pretty basic and doesn't have any fancy decorations. We have shelves full of stock and a small wooden counter where we talk to people. It’s often a bit cluttered because we get a lot of stuff coming in and out every day. We don't have a website with fancy photos or a social media manager. We just rely on people knowing where we are and what we have in stock. Sometimes it gets really hot in the summer months because the highway holds the heat and reflects it back. We just keep the ceiling fans going and keep working through the afternoon. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here. Most of our regulars are from around the 411044 area and stop by on their way home. We don't do anything special, just sell what people need and keep the books straight. It’s a noisy, busy place but it is where we have always been and we like the pace.
