Solsons Exim

Out here in Changodar, things are always moving. We are at number 16 in the Panchratna Industrial Estate. It’s a busy spot with trucks coming and going all the time. Solsons Exim is basically where we manage the importing and exporting of tools and industrial bits. The air is always a little dusty from the road, but that’s just how it is in this part of Ahmedabad. We have a small office and a storage area where we keep the stock. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the estate roads a bit of a mess, but we still manage to get the crates out. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us, checking the inventory and making sure the packing lists are right. Most of the day is spent on the phone or responding to emails about shipping dates. We’ve been at this for a good while now. You can hear the neighbors’ machines humming through the walls. We keep some tea ready for when visitors drop by to check on their orders. It’s practical work. Nothing too glamorous about it, but it keeps the lights on and the customers seem to know they can find us here when they need specific parts. We just try to keep the shelves organized, though it gets a bit crowded when a big shipment arrives unexpectedly. We usually just finish up and head home when the sun starts to set.
