Vijay Industries/ Bipin Industries

We occupy units 14 through 17 over at Yamuna Industrial Estate. It is a big space, but it always feels a bit cramped once the machines are running and the materials arrive. Being near the Sakri Party Plot on Jamfalwadi Road means we hear a lot of music during the wedding season, which is a nice change from the usual grinding sounds. We are right off National Highway 8 in the CTM area, so there is always a layer of dust from the trucks passing by. Vijay Industries and Bipin Industries are basically two names for the same group of us working together here. The estate is always busy, with people moving crates and shouting over the noise of the engines. We have been here for quite some time now, and we have seen the area change a lot. The units are old-fashioned, made of brick and metal, and they get quite warm during the summer months. We spend most of our time on the floor, checking the production or making sure the loading is done right. It is not a place for sitting around in suits. We wear our work clothes and get our hands dirty every single day. If you come by, you will likely find us near the back entrance where the breeze is a bit better. We just try to keep the production moving and get home on time.
