You can find us over by the N.H. No. 8 in Dabhan, which is part of the Nadiad area in Kheda. We are right there where the Sixsan Seva is. Being near the national highway means it is always busy outside. You can hear the sound of the road 24 hours a day if you listen close enough. Our building is a practical one. It’s not meant to look pretty, just to be useful for what we do every day. We spend most of our time dealing with welfare stuff and trying to help out where we can in the local villages. The ground around here is a bit dry, but we have some trees that give a little shade during the hot Gujarat afternoons. Inside, the fans are always spinning to keep the heat away. We don’t have a lot of fancy technology. It’s mostly just notebooks and people talking face to face. We’ve been here for a while, so the locals in Dabhan know us by name. It’s the kind of place where someone might drop by just to share some news or ask for a bit of advice on a document. We don’t make a big deal out of it. We just sit down, have a glass of water, and see what can be done. It’s a slow and steady way of working, and that’s how we like it. The day usually ends with us locking up and heading home before dark.
