Umiya Corporation (Amraiwadi)

Umiya Corporation is over in Amraiwadi, right across from the Dhanjibhai Estate. If you’re coming from the Ctm side, we’re near Revabhai Estate. It’s a very industrial part of town, so there’s always trucks and dust in the air. We’ve been operating from this spot for a while. Our building is pretty basic, just a place to store what we sell and an office area to handle the billing. We spend most of our day either on the phone or out in the yard checking on things. It’s not the kind of place you come for a fancy experience. It’s more about getting the right supplies and moving on with your day. We know the neighbors around here well since we see each other every morning. Amraiwadi has a lot of these small corporations and estates, and we’re just one of them. We try to keep things simple. No big corporate meetings or anything like that, just working through the list of things to do. Sometimes the power goes out or the road gets blocked by a trailer, but we just wait it out. It's a practical way to spend the day. We keep our tools and materials organized as best as we can, though it’s a constant battle with the space we have. There's always some sorting to do at the end of the shift before we lock up the gate for the night and go home.
