Swarotsav Foundation

We've been at Sai Sanidhi for a while now, right across from G.B. Shah College. Most people in Vasna know where that is. It’s a busy spot on Sarkhej Road, and the office gets pretty noisy with the traffic sometimes. We started Swarotsav Foundation because we wanted to do something local with music and culture. It’s mostly just a few of us here handling the day-to-day stuff. We don't have a big fancy setup, just some desks and a lot of old files. Sometimes the college kids drop by to ask questions about what we are doing. We try to keep things moving. Ahmedabad has changed a lot since we moved in here. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting at the computer. It’s not glamorous work, but it needs doing. The tea stall downstairs is where we usually end up talking about what to do next. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just keep our little corner of Gujarat going. Most days are just about answering emails and making sure the events we help with actually happen. It’s hard work, and sometimes we get behind on things. But that’s just how it goes when you’re a small team. We like being in this part of town. It feels like home to us. If you’re ever near the college, you’ve probably seen our sign. It’s nothing special, but it’s ours. We hope to stay here a long time.
