Sv. Jay Charity Foundation

Sv. Jay Charity Foundation is located in Satadhar Park Society, at house number 2. We are right near the Raiya area and very close to AUM General Store. Most people use the store as a landmark to find us. It’s a quiet residential society. We try not to make too much of a disturbance. We started this charity because we wanted to give back to the community where we live. We aren't a big organization with lots of money. We are just a few neighbors who decided to pool our resources together. We help out people who are struggling. You’ll often find us sitting out on the porch. We talk about what we can do next. We don't have a professional staff. Our team is just volunteers who live nearby. To be honest, we spend more time talking to people than we do sitting at a computer. It’s a very hands-on kind of thing. If someone in the society has a problem, they usually just walk over and knock on our door. We like it that way. It keeps us connected to what’s actually happening around us. We don't have any big corporate donors. Everything is just local stuff. Sometimes we struggle to get things organized. We always figure it out in the end. It’s just us doing what we can for the people we know. It feels right to work like this.
