Stanley Electricals

We’re located at B/24 in the Karnavati Estate. It’s right across from the Bhagwati Restaurant on the Mahemdavad Highway. Being in the Vatva GIDC area means there is always a lot of industrial activity going on around us. Stanley Electricals is where we spend most of our time. The shop is full of wires, switches, and all sorts of electrical components. It’s a bit of a jumble, but we generally know where everything is. The air always has that faint smell of ozone and warm plastic. We’ve got a couple of heavy workbenches where we test things out. Sometimes the fuses blow when we’re testing something big, and we have to go reset the main breaker. It’s a bit of a nuisance, but it’s part of the job. Most of the people who come in are local contractors or guys working in the other factories in the GIDC. We’ve been here since the estate was much newer. The highway outside is always loud with trucks zooming past, but you get used to the sound after a while. We keep a small fridge in the corner for cold water because it gets really hot in the summer. We don't have a big corporate team or anything. It's just a few of us making sure people get the electrical parts they need. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till night. We just keep our heads down.
