Neha Interior

Our shop is over on Science City Road, right in the Shakti Arcade. It’s unit G. F. 26. Being right across from the Auda Water Tank makes it easy for people to find us. Ahmedabad is growing fast, and Sola is always busy with new buildings going up. Inside Neha Interior, it’s a mix of wood scraps, laminate samples, and some old chairs we use. We spend a lot of time looking at drawings and trying to figure out how to make things fit. It’s not like those big showrooms you see in the malls. This is a working space. There’s usually sawdust on the floor because we’re always mocking something up for a client. Customers come in with photos on their phones, and we sit down and talk about what’s possible. My desk is covered in tape measures and pens that barely work. The traffic on Science City Road is loud, but once you step inside, we’re usually focused on the wood. We do a lot of the work ourselves or with a couple of helpers who know how to handle the tools. It’s a local business, through and through. We know the neighbors and the guy who sells snacks downstairs. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due for a house nearby. It gets tiring, but seeing a cabinet or a wardrobe finished feels okay. We don't do much advertising; people just walk in because they saw our sign or heard about us.
