We are over at 27 Laxmi Chambers on Navjeevan Press Road. It’s right across from the old High Court in Usmanpura. You might know the spot, it gets really crowded around noon with all the traffic. We’ve been here for a while now. The office isn’t anything fancy. We have some old wooden desks and a few computers that hum too loud. We mostly handle marketing for different snack brands. It’s a lot of phone calls and chasing down distributors. Ahmedabad gets so hot in May, and our AC struggles a bit, but we manage. There is a small tea stall just down the street where we get our morning chai. We aren't some big corporate firm with a lobby. It’s just us working through piles of invoices and samples. Sometimes the samples get eaten before they even get logged, which is a bit of a running joke here. The building itself is old, but it has character. Navjeevan Press Road is always busy, so there’s always something to look at out the window. We just keep our heads down and get the snacks out to the shops. It's practical work for practical people. Most of us live nearby so the commute isn't too bad, except when it rains and the road floods a little. That's just how it is in this part of Ahmedabad. We don't have a big marketing pitch. We just do the work.
