Shri Govind Manav Seva Foundation

We’ve been here at Sarthak Tenament for a while now. It’s right on P.D. Pandya Road, just across from Smaruti Park in Vatva. If you know the area, you know it gets busy during the day. Most of us living or working around here in Ahmedabad know the local spots. Our foundation is just a group of people trying to help out where we can. We started this because we saw things in the neighborhood that needed doing. It’s not a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a space in house number 76. We spend a lot of our time just talking to folks who stop by. Sometimes the traffic outside is a bit much, especially near the park, but we like being in this part of town. It feels real. People here work hard. We don't have some big corporate manual telling us how to act. We just do the work. If someone needs something, we see if we can manage it. It’s mostly local stuff. Sometimes we’re out on the street, other times we’re just sitting inside organizing the next week. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s how life is. We aren't trying to change the whole world in one day. Just trying to keep things going in our corner of Vatva. We’ve lived here a long time so we know the families around. It's just us, doing what we can with what we have.
