Shreeji Tools & Hardware is situated just outside the Odhav Octroi Naka. We’re right opposite the Sarthi Complex on the Odhav-Singarva Road. If you know the Odhav area, you’ve probably passed by us a few times. The shop is filled with all sorts of tools and bits of hardware that people need for building or fixing things. We have piles of stuff everywhere, from heavy-duty wrenches to boxes of small washers and nuts. It’s not always the most organized-looking place, but we generally know where everything is kept. Usually, people come in with a broken part or a specific measurement, and we spend a few minutes digging through the shelves to find the right match. Working on the Odhav-Singarva Road means we see a lot of industrial workers and local guys looking for supplies. The dust from the road sometimes gets inside, so we’re often dusting off the displays. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that, just a couple of us who know the inventory and try to be helpful when someone is stuck on a repair job. It’s a basic hardware store where you can get what you need without a lot of fuss. We open early and stay until the evening, just making sure the local tradesmen and neighbors have a place to get their supplies nearby. It’s a steady rhythm of work that we’ve grown quite used to over the years. Sometimes the power goes out, so we just wait it out or use flashlights to find things. That’s just how it goes in this part of town.
