Our workplace is located over in Odhav GIDC, specifically at number 427. If you are driving around the estate, we are right near the Bhikshuk Gruh and just across from the Apna Bazar gas godown. It’s a busy industrial area, so there is always some noise from the trucks and the machinery nearby. Being a co-operative society means there are usually a few of us around handling different tasks at once. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and the building shows its age a little, but it works for what we need to do. The floor gets messy with thread and bits of fabric, but we sweep it up at the end of every shift. It’s not a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just where the work happens. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck in the narrow lanes of the GIDC, which can be a bit of a headache in the mornings. We just deal with it as it comes. Most of the people who come by are regulars who have known us for years. We don't have a big front desk or a receptionist. Usually, you’ll just find someone near the entrance who can help you out. It’s a practical setup, nothing more and nothing less. We keep the machines running and try to stay on top of the orders that come through. It’s steady work, and we like being part of this local industrial community.
