Shiv Hospital

Shiv Hospital sits right on the 132 Ft Ring Road in Naranpura, at 1 Jaymangal Society. We are directly across from the Jaymangal BRTS Bus Stop, which is very convenient for people who don't have their own cars. The ring road is incredibly busy at all hours, so there is always the sound of buses and horns in the background. It’s a larger building than some of the small clinics nearby, but it still feels like a local place. I’ve been part of the staff here for several years. We see a lot of walk-ins because of our location right on the main road. The lobby is usually full of people sitting on the benches, waiting for their names to be called. It’s a bit hectic at times, especially when several people arrive at once. We don't have any fancy automated systems for everything; we still use a lot of paper forms and clipboards. I spend a lot of time walking between the different rooms and making sure the doctors have what they need. The floors are polished every night, but by midday, they show the tracks of everyone who has come through. We deal with all sorts of medical issues here, some big and some small. It’s a practical, no-frills hospital. We just focus on getting people the care they need and keeping things moving as smoothly as possible given how busy it stays.
