Sal Hospital

Sal Hospital has an office here at B-8 in Krishna Kung Apartment. This is located on Judges Bunglow Cross Road in Bodakdev. If you know Ahmedabad, you know this is a pretty well-known and busy area. It’s 380015. We aren't the main hospital building where the beds and the doctors are; this is more of a side office for the administrative stuff. We have a lot of papers and patient records stored here in various folders. The apartment is on a lower floor, so it’s easy for people to get to if they need to drop something off. Krishna Kung is an older building, so it has that lived-in feel and doesn't look like a clinic. We deal with some of the back-end work that keeps the hospital running behind the scenes. The traffic at the crossroad is always something to watch while we take our lunch break. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze with all the desks and cabinets, but we make it work. Most of the people working here have been with the hospital for many years. We know the daily routine by heart. It gets a bit hectic when we have to find old records or handle insurance queries for the patients. The tea guy outside knows our order without us even asking. It’s a practical place to work, right in the middle of a busy part of the city. We just do our bit.
