Our place is No. 105 P-14/1 in the Khan Estate. It is a bit of a trek to get here because it's behind the Trupti Hotel and near Chandola Lake on Narol Road. The lake is right there, which is a landmark most people use to find us. We are also opposite the B. R. T. S. Workshop, so there is always the sound of buses and mechanical work going on nearby. At Tulip Disposable Solution Manufacturing Pvt. Ltd., the machines are running most of the time. It gets a bit loud, but you get used to the hum after a few minutes. We have a lot of space for the manufacturing part, though it feels crowded when a new shipment of raw materials arrives. The office part is just a small room with a couple of old desks and a fan that squeaks. We usually eat our lunch near the window where we can see the hotel. The estate itself is quite old and the roads inside can be a bit bumpy. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the things we make. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time navigating the narrow lanes around Khan Estate, so we have to go out and guide them in. It's just a busy, working-class area where everyone is trying to get things done. We keep the machines cleaned and the floor swept as best as we can every single day.
