Our hospital is located at 97, Gandhinagar Society in Ahmedabad. It is a busy place as you can imagine, being a medical facility. There are always people coming in and out, whether it is patients or their families. We have doctors and nurses moving through the halls all day and night. It is not like a regular office job where everyone goes home at five. The lights never really go out here at Hcg Medisurge Hospitals. We try to keep things organized, but in a hospital, something unexpected always happens. The building itself is right in the middle of a residential society, so we have to be mindful of our neighbors. It is a practical space designed for care, not for looking pretty. We have waiting areas that are often full of people looking at their phones or talking quietly. The smell of disinfectant is something you just get used to after a while. We have been part of the Ahmedabad community for a long time. It is a lot of responsibility and sometimes the stress gets to everyone. We take our breaks when we can, usually just a quick cup of tea in the canteen. We do not use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. People come here because they need help, and we do our best to provide that in a sensible way. It is a tough job but it is what we do every day.
