Karnavati Hospital Pvt. Ltd

Our spot is on the Savitanagar Vinzol Road, which is out in the Vatva area. It is more of an industrial side of town, so the air usually has that heavy smell from the factories nearby. The hospital itself is a solid building, but the paint is peeling a bit near the bottom where the rain hits it. We have a small parking area that is mostly full of bicycles and a few motorbikes. The waiting room has these blue plastic chairs that aren't the most comfortable, but they work fine for a short stay. We handle a lot of local cases here, people coming in from the nearby chawls and small houses. The staff is mostly local too, so we speak the same language as everyone who walks through the door. It gets quite dusty because of the trucks passing by on the main road, so we are always dusting the counters. There is a small temple across the street where people go to pray while waiting for news. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls, just some health posters and a clock that is five minutes fast. Everyone knows everyone around here, which makes it feel less like a cold institution and more like a part of the neighborhood. We stay open late, and the lights from our sign are one of the few things glowing on this stretch of road at night. It is hard work but we are used to it.
