S.A.L Hospital

Our place is located at 64/383 Lic Staff Quarters here in Ahmedabad. It’s a bit of an interesting spot for S.A.L Hospital, being tucked into the staff quarters area like this. We have been working out of this location for some time now. People come in and out all day long, and it can get a bit crowded in the hallways when things are especially busy. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we focus more on what’s happening with the patients who come to see us. We deal with a lot of local folks from the 380013 zip code and the surrounding neighborhoods. It’s not like those giant, shiny medical centers you see in the movies; it’s much more grounded and functional. The staff knows most of the regulars by their first name. We spend our shifts checking charts, talking to families, and making sure the supplies are stocked up in the cabinets. It gets hectic during the monsoon when everyone seems to get a bit under the weather at the same time. There’s always the sound of footsteps and voices echoing around the corridors. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles, just the equipment we need and the space to help people out. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit messy on the front desk, but we eventually get through it all. It’s just our daily routine here in the city, trying to keep things moving along.
