Shishu Utthan Foundation

Shishu Utthan Foundation operates out of Anand Niketan, right by the Ambli Railway Crossing in the Thaltej-Shilaj area of Ahmedabad. Our address is officially S. No. 495, M/S. Utthan Sewa Sansthan. It is a busy spot where the city feels like it is always moving. We have a modest office space here. It is not the kind of place with a big receptionist or fancy coffee machines. We just have a kettle and some desks. The sound of the trains at the crossing is something we have all gotten used to over time. It’s a regular part of our workday. We spend a lot of our hours handling the logistics for the foundation. There are always forms to fill out and schedules to coordinate. The building has a lot of history with the local community. People know where we are. We try to keep things simple and honest. We don't use a lot of big words or complicated plans. We just look at what needs to be done for the day and we do it. Sometimes it gets crowded in the office when we have visitors, but we manage. It’s a functional space that suits our needs. Being near the Ambli crossing means we are right in the middle of a developing part of Ahmedabad. We see the changes every day. It is just a regular office where we work hard and try to stay organized.
