Shanti Learning Foundation

We are way up on the 18th floor of the West Gate building, specifically in office 1909. It’s near the Brooklin Tower and the S G Highway, so it’s a pretty modern area of Makarba. Shanti Learning Foundation is based here, and we spend our days looking at how to help people learn better. Even though the building is big and looks very professional, our office is pretty relaxed. We have books everywhere and a few computers that have seen better days. The view of the highway is actually quite nice, especially when the sun goes down, but we’re usually too busy to notice. It takes a minute to get up the elevator, but once you’re here, it’s a quiet place to work. We aren't a corporate giant, just a group of people interested in education. Sometimes we have tea together and talk about what’s next for our projects. It’s a bit of a trek for some people to visit us here, but we like the space. It’s clean and functional, even if we do leave our lunch boxes on the desks sometimes. We try to keep things simple and not get bogged down in too much bureaucracy. It’s just about getting the work done and helping the students and teachers we work with on a daily basis. The door is usually open if we are in.
