Sal Hospital

We are right across from the Doordarshan tower on Drive In Road, which is a landmark everyone in the city knows. If you tell someone to go to the Drive Inn area, they usually find us without any trouble. The hospital is in a very busy part of the neighborhood, and the sound of cars and honking is constant throughout the day. We have a big glass front that lets in a lot of light, but it also shows all the dust from the main road. The lobby is usually full of people sitting on the metal benches, waiting for their turn or for news about their relatives. We don't have a lot of fancy artwork on the walls, just the standard signs and some old clocks that don't all show the same time. The elevators are a bit slow, so most of the staff just takes the stairs to get between floors. It’s a functional place where the focus is just on getting the work done. In the evenings, the street lights from Drive In Road shine into the upper windows. We see a lot of different people here, from office workers to local residents, all coming in for various reasons. It’s a high-energy environment because of where we are located, and there is rarely a moment of complete silence, but that is just how life is in this part of the city near the TV station. We keep things going through the day and night shifts without much fuss.
