Sal Hospital

Sal Hospital is right across from the Doordarshan Tower on Drive In Road in the Thaltej area. That big tower is the best landmark if you are looking for us. We’ve been sitting on this corner for a long time now. The road outside is always busy with cars and buses heading towards the city or out to the suburbs. It’s a big building, and we have a lot of different wings for various things. When you walk in, you usually see a lot of people waiting or talking to the staff at the desk. We don’t have any of those fancy modern waterfalls or anything like that in the lobby. It’s just a hospital. The staff is mostly local, and they know the rhythm of the place. Some days are just flat-out busy, especially in the mornings when the clinics start up. Thaltej has changed a lot since we first opened, but the hospital has stayed pretty much the same. We just keep up with the maintenance and make sure the rooms are ready for whoever needs them. It’s a straightforward operation. People from all over Ahmedabad come here because of the location. We just do our shifts, handle the paperwork, and take care of the people who come through the door. It’s a lot of work, but it’s what we do. The view of the tower is something we see every day from the windows.
