Sal Hospital & Medical Institute

We’ve been located here on Drive-inn Road for quite a while now, sitting right across from the Doordarshan Tower. It’s a pretty busy spot in Thaltej. You can usually see people coming and going at all hours because our building is large and houses many different departments. There is always a lot of movement in the hallways. Most days, the waiting room has plenty of folks sitting around. It can get a bit noisy with the paging system and staff talking to one another. This is just a regular hospital where we do our daily work. The nurses are usually on their feet, moving from one room to another, while the doctors have their rounds to keep up with. We’ve seen many families come through these doors over the years, some just for a quick checkup and others staying longer. It’s not a fancy place, but we keep it functional and clean. The parking can be a bit of a headache during the middle of the day when it’s most crowded, but people usually find a spot eventually. Being near such a big landmark like the tower makes us easy to find for anyone new to this part of Ahmedabad. We don't spend much time on anything but the patients. It is a practical environment where we just focus on getting through the tasks at hand. There's always something to be done, from updating files to checking on the rooms. We just keep going until the shift is over.
