You can find us right opposite Sarangpur Bank. Sai Krupa Ele & Power Tools is tucked into Bala Hanuman Lane, just off Gandhi Road. It’s a busy little corner near the Idgah Circle. There’s always a lot of movement around the circle, and the lane can get quite tight with scooters parked everywhere. Inside our shop, it’s a mix of drills, saws, and all sorts of electrical components. The smell of machine oil is pretty strong. We spend a lot of time showing people how to use the tools or testing things out to make sure they run right. It gets pretty loud when we have to demo a hammer drill. The bank across the street is a good landmark for people who haven't been here before. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a while. The walls are lined with pegboards holding every kind of wrench and screwdriver you could think of. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s a place for people who actually use their hands. We usually have a radio playing in the background, though it’s hard to hear over the traffic outside. We don't have a fancy mission statement. We just know our tools and we help the people who come in. Sometimes we run out of space and have to stack boxes on the sidewalk for a bit. It’s a busy, dusty, and honest way to make a living.
