Sahkar Charity Foundation

We started Sahkar Charity Foundation right here in Shela, mostly because we saw stuff that needed fixing in the neighborhood. Our office is tucked away in Orchid Harmony, specifically at C6/102. It is a quiet spot in Applewood Township. Some days it is just a few of us sitting around a desk trying to figure out the next step for our projects. We do not have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we coordinate what needs doing. Most of the time, people just drop by to ask how they can help out or to drop off things for the community. We have been at this for a bit now. It is not always easy to get everyone on the same page, but we manage. You will usually find someone in the office during the day, though we spend a lot of time out and about. Living and working in the same township makes it easier to see what is actually happening on the ground. We are not trying to be some massive corporation. We just want to do our part where we live. Sometimes the paperwork piles up and the tea gets cold, but that is just how it goes when you are busy. If you are around Applewood, you probably know where Orchid Harmony is. We are just one part of the local fabric here, trying to keep things moving in the right direction without making too much of a fuss.
