Ruparelia Nurshing Home

Our nursing home is located at 143 in Sardar Patel Colony. It’s a bit of a quieter spot compared to the main roads, situated right near the Stadium Marg Post Office and Pathik Society. We’ve been here in Naranpura for a long time. The building is an older one, which gives it a different feel than the new glass buildings you see popping up around Ahmedabad. We have a few beds and the staff stays busy with the daily chores of running a medical facility. There is always laundry to be done, floors to be mopped, and patients to check on. Being next to the post office means we see a lot of the same faces walking by every day. It feels like a real community here. The rooms are basic but they serve the purpose of getting people through their recovery. We don't have a big front desk with a receptionist in a suit; it’s usually just one of the nurses or a family member helping out. We handle various medical needs as they come. Sometimes the street outside gets a bit jammed with cars, but generally, it’s a decent place to be. We focus on the tasks at hand, making sure the medicines are given on time and that the patients are comfortable enough. It’s hard work and it’s not always pretty, but it’s what we do here in Sardar Patel Colony every single day without fail.
