R P Plast Industries/R P Enterprise

Our place, R P Plast Industries, is located on the first floor of Vijay Estate-2, unit 1/2. We are right across from Omkar Process and near Abhishek Estate. This part of Naroda Road is always busy with industrial activity. Being on the first floor means we have to haul everything up and down the stairs, which is a good workout I guess, though it’s tough when the weather is hot. We do plastic work and have a few machines running most of the day. The hum of the motors is the background noise of our lives. It’s not a fancy setup. We have some old plastic chairs for guests and a desk that’s covered in sample parts and scraps of paper. R P Enterprise is also run from this same spot, so it’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes. My cousin handles the orders while I watch the machines. We’ve been in this estate for several years and have seen a lot of neighbors come and go. The walls are a bit stained from the industrial air, and the windows are usually kept open to catch whatever breeze we can get. We aren't big on formalities here. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the middle of a production run, maybe a bit sweaty and tired, but we always have time for a quick chat.
