Pukhraj Hospital

Pukhraj Hospital is a small local spot in the Ramnagar area of Sabarmati. It is one of those places that has just always been there for the neighborhood. People walk over from their houses when they aren't feeling well because it is easier than going across town. The building is simple and fits right in with the rest of Ramnagar. Inside, it is pretty quiet most of the time, except for when the morning rush of patients comes in. We have a few doctors who have been working here for years, so they know the history of almost everyone who walks in. Sabarmati is a busy part of the city, but our little corner stays relatively calm. We don't have the latest high-tech gadgets you see in the big city hospitals, but we have the essentials to take care of the folks around here. The waiting room has some old magazines and some sturdy chairs that have seen a lot of use. It is a practical place. If someone has a fever or needs some stitches, they come to us. We don't spend much time worrying about how things look, we just focus on making sure the patients get what they need. The staff is mostly local people too, so there is always some neighborhood news being shared. It is just a regular hospital doing regular work for the people of Sabarmati and that is how the days go by for us here.
