We've been here at 132, Ooty Main Road for quite a while now. Perianacikenpalayan is a busy area, especially with all the trucks and cars heading up towards the hills. Most days, you'll find us inside the building working on various instruments and control panels. It gets pretty dusty out there on the road, but we keep things clean enough to do the work. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside, just a regular brick place where we get things done. We usually start early in the morning before the traffic gets too loud. Since a lot of the people who work here live nearby, we know the local shops and where to get a hot tea during our breaks. Sometimes the power goes out, or the delivery truck gets stuck in traffic, but that’s just how it is around here. We handle a lot of different gauges and switches every day. It’s practical work. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in India or anything like that. We just want to make sure the stuff we send out works like it's supposed to. If you come by, you'll probably see a few of us standing near the entrance talking about the day’s schedule. It’s a straightforward setup. We've got our tools, our benches, and a pile of paperwork that never seems to get smaller. That's pretty much what Premier Instruments & Controls Ltd. is on a normal Tuesday.
