Pramukh Industries

Our workshop is over at 80/7 G.I.D.C., Phase-I, right across from the Shiv Shakti Bridge on Torrent Road in Vatva. It’s a busy part of the industrial estate, and you can always hear the traffic moving over the bridge. Pramukh Industries has been here for a while, and the building shows its age a bit, but it’s sturdy. We have a lot of heavy machinery that takes up most of the space, leaving just enough room for us to move around. The floor gets greasy, and we’re always wiping our hands on old rags. It’s the kind of place where you don’t wear your good clothes. We deal with a lot of local businesses around Vatva and some from further away too. Most of our day is spent making parts or checking the machines to make sure they aren't overheating. We don't have a big fancy office, just a small desk near the entrance where we keep the delivery challans and the phone. When the tea man comes around in the afternoon, that’s usually our only real break. It’s hard work, especially in the summer when the tin roof makes everything feel twice as hot. But we’ve got a good rhythm going here. We don't use any big words to describe what we do; we just make things that people need for their own factories and try to keep the machines running smoothly.
