Patient House Hospital

You can find us tucked away in the Jamalpur area, specifically located behind the Shah Aliji Dargah at Khamasa Chakla. This is one of those older parts of the city where the streets can be quite narrow and there is a lot of history and activity in every corner. We call this place Patient House Hospital. It is a local facility that has been serving this specific community for a long time. Because we are right behind the Dargah, it is usually very lively outside with people visiting the shrine or going about their shopping. Inside the hospital, we try to maintain a bit more of a quiet atmosphere so the patients can rest. We deal with a variety of health issues here, as it is a general hospital, but on a much smaller and more personal scale than the big corporate ones you see in other districts. We have a few beds for those who need to stay overnight and a small staff that works in shifts to look after everyone. The building itself is quite old and has a lot of character, even if it doesn't have the modern look of a new construction. We spend much of our day talking with families from the local neighborhood who have been coming to us for years. Everyone seems to know everyone else around Khamasa Chakla. It can be a bit hectic at times given the location, but we are used to the rhythm of Jamalpur. We just keep doing our work every day.
