Parekhs Hospital

We've been over here at Shyamal Cross Road for quite some time now. Being right on the 132 Feet Ring Road means it's usually pretty noisy outside with all the cars and bikes going by constantly. You can see the Jivraj Over Bridge from just a little ways down the street. We spend most of our mornings just getting things ready for whoever comes through the doors. It’s a busy spot in Satellite. The building isn't brand new or anything, but it works for what we need to do. Some days the lobby gets really crowded and we have to move chairs around to make more room for everyone waiting. Usually, it's just the usual routine of checking people in and out. The staff knows the neighborhood well because a lot of us live nearby or take the bus along the Ring Road. Sometimes the traffic at the crossroad gets so backed up it takes forever just to get across the street for a quick lunch. We try to keep things organized inside, even when it feels like a lot is happening at once. People come in from all over this part of Ahmedabad. We just stay focused on the work at hand and try to get through the daily list of tasks. It’s not a fancy place, just a hospital where we do our jobs every day. The tea stall nearby is where most of us head when there’s a break. It's just life here near the bridge.
