Parekh Hospital

We run Parekh Hospital out of the Shiv Ganga Complex on Station Road in Bavla. It’s right there in the middle of things, close to where everything happens in town. Station Road is usually packed with people coming and going. Our hospital isn't a massive place, but we have what we need to take care of the locals. We’ve been in the Shiv Ganga Complex for a long time now. The building has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and it serves its purpose. We spend our days seeing patients from all over Bavla and the nearby villages. It’s a practical environment. We don’t go in for fancy decorations or expensive rugs. It’s just tile floors and medical equipment. Most of our staff lives nearby, so we know the families who come in. There’s a certain routine to life on Station Road, with the trains and the buses, and we’re just part of that. We keep the doors open for whoever needs us. It gets busy, especially in the mornings, but we manage. We aren't trying to be anything other than a local hospital for the people here. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do, and we’ve been doing it at this spot in Bavla for years. People know us and we know them, which makes the long days better.
