Panchal Electrical & Engineering Works

Our workshop is tucked away inside Shyamal Becharni Khadki, which is right near the Central Bank on Gheekanta Road. It is a very busy part of Ahmedabad, always full of people, carts, and scooters weaving through the lanes. Panchal Electrical & Engineering Works has been doing repairs and small engineering jobs here for a long time. The space itself is a bit cramped because we have motors and various electrical parts stacked up almost everywhere you look. You really have to watch your step when you walk in the door. We don't have a reception area or anyone waiting to greet you. Usually, you will find one of us with a multimeter or a wrench in hand, hunched over a machine. Gheekanta is the kind of neighborhood where you can find almost any mechanical part if you know which narrow lane to turn into. We handle a lot of motor rewinding and small-scale engineering tasks. Sometimes it is a fan motor that burned out, or a local business needs a specific metal part made to order. We don’t promise miracles, but we know how these machines work. The building is quite old and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but that doesn’t change how the repairs turn out. We have regular customers who have been coming to this same spot for decades. They know we are honest about what can actually be fixed and what is just scrap metal. It is a noisy, greasy, and busy life, but it suits us just fine. (256 words)
