We are tucked away in the Ambica Rice Mill Compound. If you know the Sarkhej area, we are right opposite Gohel and near the Sanand Railway Crossing. Being near the tracks means we hear the trains going by all day long. The ground is often covered in a bit of dust from the rice mill next door. We handle various goods and supplies from this location. It’s not a fancy office at all, just a part of the warehouse that we’ve partitioned off for our desk and some chairs. We spend a lot of our time coordinating with drivers and checking the stock that comes in on the trucks. Sometimes the railway crossing gate stays closed for a long time and everything comes to a standstill, which can be frustrating when we are in a hurry. But that is just part of being in this location. We have a small team, and we usually eat our lunch together in the back. We don't do much advertising; most people find us because they were already coming to the rice mill or someone in Sarkhej told them about us. It is a simple, straightforward way to earn a living, and we like the familiarity of the compound. We have been here for a while and have gotten used to the rhythm of the trains and the noise of the trucks. It isn't a perfect setup, but it is our place and it gets the job done every day.
