Nagpur Switchgears Pvt. Ltd.

Our place is out in the C-39 block of the Nagpur Industrial Area, over in MIDC. Nagpur Switchgears Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from this same building for quite some time now. It’s an industrial zone, so it’s mostly factories and warehouses around us. We spend our days working on electrical switchgear components. It’s not the cleanest work, and the workshop floor usually has some scraps or tools lying around. We have a small team of guys who know the machinery inside out. They don't wear suits; they wear work clothes that get dirty. We handle orders for local factories and some bigger projects too. The office part is just a couple of desks near the front door where we handle the billing and the phone calls. It’s nothing special to look at, but it gets the job done. Sometimes the heat in Nagpur gets really bad in the summer, and the fans just move the hot air around, but we keep going. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the stuff we build works right when it's installed. Most of our customers are other businesses nearby who just drop in when they need something specific. It’s a simple operation and we like it that way. We don't have a lot of meetings, just work. We like the quiet after the shifts finally end for the day.
