Monika Traders

Monika Traders is located at 258 Kumaran Road. It is a simple storefront on a road that sees a lot of daily foot traffic. We have been here for a good amount of time, and the building itself has some character. We deal in various goods as traders, so our inventory changes depending on what is available and what people are asking for. The shop is often filled with bags and crates that we move around throughout the day. We start early in the morning by sweeping the front and getting the books ready for the day's sales. Kumaran Road is a place where people are always passing by on their way to other things, so we get a mix of regular customers and people just stopping in for the first time. We try to keep a bit of everything that might be useful. It is just a few of us working here, so we all do a bit of everything from lifting boxes to talking to the suppliers on the phone. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when several deliveries arrive at once, but we manage to sort it out eventually. We aren't looking to become a massive company; we just like running our shop and being a part of the local economy. We know the other shopkeepers on the road and we look out for each other. It is a nice way to spend the day, even if it gets a bit tiring by the time we lock up at night.
