Modpir Foundation

We have a small shop over at Om Shopping, it's Shop Number 1 in Alia village. Being out here in Jamnagar, things move a bit slower than in the big cities, and we like that. The Modpir Foundation is basically just us working out of this one room. It’s not very big, but it’s enough for what we need. We spend most of our time talking to people from the village and trying to stay organized. It gets a bit dusty sometimes because of the road, but that’s just how it is here. We aren’t some big corporate group with suits and ties. We’re just local folks who wanted to start something meaningful. Most days it’s just one or two of us at the desk. We handle the mail, answer questions, and try to keep our records straight. It’s honest work. Sometimes the power goes out, or the internet is slow, but we just wait it out and get back to it. Alia is a small place, so everyone knows where Om Shopping is. We don’t need to tell people much because they already know us. We just keep doing what we’ve been doing. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s our life. We’re glad to be part of the village and to have this little space to work from. Sometimes people stop by just to say hello or ask a quick question, and we don't mind. It's nice to be part of the local scene here in Jamnagar.
