Mehta Hospital

You can find us on the first floor of the Dalia Building. We are right near V. S. Hospital and just across from the Town Hall in Ellisbridge. It’s a very central part of Ahmedabad, so there’s always a lot of noise and traffic outside. Being on the first floor is nice because people don’t have to climb too many stairs, though there is an elevator if it's working that day. The office is set up with a few different sections for checkups and consultations. We spend a lot of time just keeping up with the flow of people coming in from the street. It’s a bit of a maze in this building sometimes, but once you find our door, it’s pretty straightforward inside. We have some basic furniture and some older filing cabinets that have seen better days. The view out the window is mostly just the busy street and the other buildings nearby. We don’t have any big corporate signs, just the name on the door. It’s a place where we do our work without making a big fuss about it. A lot of people come to us because they’re already in the area for the other hospitals or the market. We just keep things moving along, one person at a time, until it’s time to lock up in the evening.
