We've been at Nilkanth Palace for a while now. It’s right across from Seema Hall on the 100 Ft Road. Most people around Satellite know the spot. We mostly deal with things for the home, like curtains and sofa fabrics. It gets pretty busy here on weekends because of the location. We try to keep a good stock of stuff so people have choices. Sometimes the shop feels a bit crowded with all the rolls of cloth everywhere. My dad started this and now we just keep it going. It's a lot of work handling the measurements and making sure everything fits right. Satellite is a good area, lots of new apartments coming up. People come in looking for something that looks okay but doesn't cost a fortune. We spend most of our day talking to customers about what colors might work in their living rooms. It’s not always easy to decide. The lighting in the shop isn't the greatest but we manage. If you’re driving by, you might miss the sign if you’re not looking. We just focus on getting the orders done on time. Sometimes the tailor is late, but that’s just how it goes here. We don't do anything fancy, just standard furnishing work for the neighbors and people around this side of town. It keeps us busy enough throughout the week. The 100 Ft Road has changed a lot since we opened. There are more shops now. We usually open around ten and stay late.
