Mahesh Trading Co (Relief Road Tinwala Bldg)

We are tucked away in the Tinwala Building on Relief Road, right near the Zakaria Masjid. Most people know this area is always crowded with traffic and shoppers, so getting stuff in and out takes some patience. Our shop isn't very large, but we pack it full of whatever we're trading that week. It’s been our home base for quite some time now. You’ll usually find us sitting behind the counter or checking the inventory in the back. The building itself has its own character, with old walls and lots of neighbors doing their own thing. We deal with various goods, and the inventory changes depending on what’s available or what people are asking for. It gets pretty loud outside with the bikes and the horns, but inside we just focus on getting the orders right. Sometimes we have tea with the other shopkeepers when things are slow and the heat is high. Dealing with the paperwork takes up more time than I’d like, but that’s part of the trade. If you’re looking for us, just find the masjid and then walk over to the Tinwala building. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights, just a simple door and a lot of boxes. It's a straightforward way to make a living, and we've gotten used to the rhythm of the road. Every day is a bit different depending on who walks in or what the suppliers send over. It keeps life interesting, I suppose, and the tea is usually good.
