Mahavir Handloom House (Panchkuva)

If you know where Panchkuva Gate is, you can find us pretty easily. We are over near Komal Chamber, specifically at 522/2/1. It’s a busy part of town, always people moving and bikes honking outside. Inside the shop, it’s a different world with all the handloom fabrics tucked into shelves. We spend a lot of time measuring out cloth and folding it back neatly, though it never stays neat for long. The light in the back of the shop isn't great, so we usually take the fabric near the front door to show the real colors. It's a small place, honestly. We’ve got rolls of cloth everywhere, some leaning against the walls and others stacked on tables. It’s a family kind of thing, so there’s usually a few of us hanging around, talking to neighbors or helping someone find a specific thread count. Lunchtime is usually spent right here among the boxes. Sometimes the dust from the street gets in, so we’re always dusting things off. It's not a corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a place where we sell handloom stuff. Some days are slow, others we can barely keep up with the cutting. We don’t have any big signs or fancy displays. People come because they know we’ve been here in Panchkuva for years. It’s just what we do.
