Krishna Hospital & Icu

Krishna Hospital & Icu is located in the Suryarani complex, right by the Akhbar Nagar cross roads. Nava Wadaj is a busy area, so there is always something going on outside our doors. The complex is shared with some other businesses, but we occupy a good chunk of it. Being near the cross roads means it can get pretty loud with the rickshaws and buses, but once you step inside, the atmosphere changes. The ICU section is kept very quiet, which is a big contrast to the lobby where the phones are always ringing. We have a lot of stairs to climb since we are spread across a couple of floors, but there is a lift for those who need it. The paint in the hallways is a soft blue color that we picked out years ago because it felt calm. Sometimes the reception gets a bit overwhelmed when three people are trying to talk at once, but we manage. We’ve got a small area where families can sit and wait, and there’s a tea stall just around the corner that everyone goes to. It’s a local place through and through. The staff knows the neighborhood well, and we often see the same faces coming back for follow-ups. We keep things simple and try to stay organized despite the daily rush of the Akhbar Nagar traffic. It's a steady life here in Wadaj for all of us.
